I don’t think Koetter should have been fired, at least this year. I think he was improving the program, and I think that Lisa understands that. He was fired because he lost the support of the fan base and donors, period.
Hiring a new coach is always a craps shoot. I sure hope that Lisa has a verbal commitment from someone who’ll blow our socks off.
